A monthly theme provides an immersive experience for participants & staff. It allows everyone to participate even if they miss a day or two. It also provides opportunities for your team to use what they know about a topic to enrich or extend it with events happening in your community.

An e-learning platform is a 21st Century online environment. The platform hosts all of the EngAGE EnCOURAGE materials from a single place. Regardless of the file type, video, PowerPoint, MS Word, or YouTube, all materials deliver a high-quality program and are available 24/7 from any electronic device with Wi-FI. If your team is at a remote location, they can access the same materials as if they were in-person with the participants.

We know that one of the biggest challenges people with dementia have is retaining short-term memories. Their lives are in the past; that’s what they know and understand and love. Starting a lifelong learning class with old, vintage photos of Rosie the Riveter immediately returns the participants to the 1940s. You have valued and honored their past by highlighting it and creating an environment of respect and connection.
